Subject: RE: IM Nutrition - 48 hours to Race Day I just tried to continue to eat what I always do. I think the big thing is just not changing things in the last minute, that gets you in more trouble than anything. As long as you are eating healthy, just keep it consistent. And then of course the pasta dinner the night beforehand is pretty standard for me. Pre race: ensure, banana with PB and oatmeal (or as much of that as I can stomach ) and some sports drink right before the start. Good luck! Don't overanalyze every move you make coming up to your ironman, it will make you crazy! |
