Anyone else using sparkpeople and want to trade sparkpages for further accountability???  I have been doing this with a friend and it has helped with daily accountability.

How does one become a member of Team Skinny?  I would like to be a member. I need all the motivation I can get.  I weighed in at 195.2 on Monday. I will weigh tonight to get an accurate number.  My goal is 185 by the end of July.

Can I play?

Can I join for July too?
I'm at 217.6 and want to be down to 210 by the end of July. Weekly weigh ins will definitely help keep me accountable!

I've been "training" for the past 4 months, but am finally serious about it now.  I'm doing my first sprint at the end of August- my goal for my 30th birthday and something I never thought this overweight gal would do after 3 kids.  How excited I was to find this forum!  Here goes my first weigh in:
7/1 224.8
7/8
7/15..etc....
AND for my goal... 218 by the end of the month- haven't been there in 5 years!

ldavis627 - 2010-07-01 7:07 AM Can I join, too, please? I'm at 193.5 down from 218 after baby. I'm looking to hit the 180s this month. My overall goal is to get down to the 160s which is my "skinny" weight.

You have to let her in.  She's another L Davis.

I haven't been tracking my food, which usually is what it takes to really lose any weight, but I am pretty sure it has been more or less OK.  I haven't had any significant deviation from Paleo, except for probably too much fruit.  Plus I started IM training this week and that will help.

I need to do better at tracking my food. I always do better when I log what I eat. It makes it easier for me to cut back on the grazing.

OK, I'll join this too!

Just signed up for BT.  I'm stuck at about 212lbs for the last couple of months.  (my A race this season was in May)  I am trying to get back on track.

I'll make my goal for July to be 206.  I think I can do it!

Who is up for a virtual 5K (or whatever distance) tomorrow?  We do this on holidays.  The usual drill is that you pick a distance that you want to race, do it,  and then post your age group and results here.  Most people win their age groups in this "race" and how often does that happen to you?  It doesn't have to be running, but it usually is.

I'm up for a 5K.

That's a cool idea, I wish I read it before my run this morning.  I did a 5K, but not at a race pace, I just ran casually with a friend.  Tomorrow we want to go down the shore so we'll have to leave too early to get a run in - I will swim all day though.  I can run on Monday morning though, of course with a heat wave coming through starting tomorrow I probably won't be that fast.  Can we wait until Monday to end the virtual race?

That sounds like a good idea, that way everyone has more time. I'll hold off on posting until Monday.
