Plus.... I bought my first set of clipless pedals/shoes yesterday so I gotta try 'em out!

I'm up, I'm up. Definately not at it yet tho.

I was hoping to get a bike ride in today, naturally it will rain all day. I also have 2 tests tomorrow to study for. Good Lord, will this semester ever end??

So it will be either the treadmill or the bike trainer for me today, and some weights. And lots of Spanish (YUK)

I'm doing the unthinkable tonight -- going out on a work night! -- so I've got to hit the little gym in our building for some weights and cardio during lunch. I figure that if I head there at 11:45 am to 1:15 pm, no one will really notice that I took 1.5 hours for lunch versus 1. :-O

It's a rainy blustery spring day today, but starting tomorrow it will be sunny and in the 70s for the next 5 days or so. That ought to give me a chance to get outside for running and biking!

You're going to run in shorts in Delavan??? I'm just a tidge south of you, and I promise I'm not doing that. You must be a hardier soul than I am.

Today's plan:
Yoga for Flexibility -forward bending postures (greatly preferred over back-bending!)
swimming, 1 mile

I'm behind a weight workout for the week.... trying to muse on where it's going to go now. I just don't know....

Went to the YMCA not expecting too much because I thought I was tired--started my bike ride and boy it went well!!!! 12 miles -- 2 mile warmup, 10 miles hills 85-95 rpm in 44:31
Then decided to run a bit -- 3.25 miles@10-10:30 mm in 31:45 minutes.

Now I'm off to run errands and plan a meal for this evening.

Have a great day everyone.
Evelyn

thanx Evelyn. I really don't want to do anything today. Big case of the blahs. I just cancelled an appointment for early this evening so hopefully by then I'll feel like cracking a book.

I think the weather is depressing me........

Ahhh Ellen,
I HEAR you loud and clear!!! I have dropped 3 of my extra curriculars so I can have time to study and to train without either interfering with the other---let's just say, in a perfect world, my system would work...ah well. I'm hoping to bike for an hourand a half tonight and swim for thirty minutes. Hopefully it will work out with all of my homework...
Less than 4 weeks left of the semester!!!!!!!!!

Big day for me. I signed up for my first Tri, which will be a sprint distance this Sunday. I started swimming about a month ago, and this past Sunday I had to swim the 400m to get my seeding time. I didn't think it was possible, buy about half way in realized I could do it. 10:24 for 400m, which I was very proud of.

Today I lifted weights and ran. Tonight I'll bike 25 miles. Then it's taper time.

LOL, 144 laps, I'm not surprised! Don't you know you're not supposed to run on a track that's smaller than your bedroom.

The Y I go to does everything on a small scale. The track, The basketball court only has one basket, the pool is only 20 yards. We only have 5 tread mills 2 stationary bikes 3 eleptical machines. The building is probably about 80 years old. But the people are nice and it is relatively inexpensive compared to the others. Hopefully it will warm up enough and start raining so that I don't have to run on that track everyday. the weight room is smaller than my bedroom.

Didn't feel like working out today - didn't feel good, no energy, blah. I had a sneaking suspission that it was mental so dragged-ass to the pool and swam a personal best 2600 yards. Now I am in an awesome mood. What a stud I am.... I am going to do kickboxing tonight.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Swim after work--2200 yds
    Then pilates
Then 75 min on trainer with 8 'hill' sessions! :-)

Good job, planning those workouts, Dana, so that you have to pile everything on after 5:30 pm!! Is there anything good on TV to watch while on my trainer??
