I saw a bumper sticher yesterday that simply said 13.1 and thought about how few people that number mean something to.  These simple bumper stickers are my favorite becuase they speak to other triathletes and runners w/o telling the whole world "look at me, I ran a marathon" or did a HIM.

I saw a guy Monday with the plain 26.2 on one side and 70.3 on the other.  I also thought it was funny how a lot of people would see those and think "I don't get it".  The guy ruined the whole thing though, because he had a SBR license plate frame that said "Triathlete" on it.  That's like explaining a punch line.

I have a 13.1 and am surprised how many times I have been asked in a parking lot "what does that mean"? It's neat to "have the inside scoop"! I just ordered "TRI" and will allow myself to put it on after I complete my OLY in about 1.5 weeks - I can't wait!

LOL, I have the 70.3 on my truck but have never been asked about it.  But I also have the USAT sticker so I guess I just answered my own question.

70.3 on my wife's car, 140.6 on mine.  Surprisingly few questions about either one.

(OTOH, the other oval decal with s/b/r stick figures that says "How about a threesome?" on my wife's car has gotten a few...)

If I saw your truck two years ago (assuming you have the stickers you do now), I would have thought you were a tennis player that could serve the ball 70.3 mph.
