Would they cancel/post-pone the race if it snows?
I'm not talking about it just snowing and not sticking but if there was a couple inches of snow on the roads?

x2. I think it's pretty much business as usual.

I know the 12K's of Kirkland (Or was it Jingle Bells?) was canceled one year due to ice. This was 2-3 years ago, if my memory serves me. But those races are much smaller than the marathon, obviously!

I think the more realistic question would be if you could actually get to the marathon start line if it is snowy (have you ever seen people out here with even a FORECAST of snow?  It is like Armageddon!).

We always stay at a hotel within 5-10 minutes walking distance from the start line, so getting there is not a problem.

Need warmer weather in 6 days or less!

The really great part is I spent 3 hours on a standing room only bus just to get across the bridge to get TO my vehicle where I took this picture.  Yay Seattle area drivers.

I had to cancel this year, work (construction) slowed to part time last month so I'm keeping the entry fee in savings. Now in a twist on "hurry up & wait" some last minute work showed up & I worked yesterday, today, and will be working tomorrow. Been taking advantage a shifted training from run focus to maintaining the run & getting serious about cycling (spinning) and swimming. Going well so far, that's why I love multi-sport.

Everyone running tomorrow have a great day! Have fun, be safe, and finish smiling!

Saw Eric and Lynne at the start, and Eric coming in to the finish. Met Rory and Deanna (BuDu Racing) as well after their finish. 3 PRs so far...

Post your results!

ITB acted up at frickin mile 2.  Never in training.  I just about dropped out at mile 13, but bullheadedness wins.  Finished it but it was a crappy day and I'm going to be paying for it for the next month.

I went out too fast, 1:34 for the first half, started getting fatigued at 15 miles, met 'the wall' around mile 18, struggled in with 9-10 min/mile. 3:23 total, and one of The toughest races ive done. And being sick all week/currently probably played aFactor! Great Job to everyone out there - weather turned out fantastic!
