I wouldn't count on it always being available on Hulu.  AMC is usually very stingy with their shows.

We ended up buying a few episodes of "Breaking Bad" from iTunes when we missed them.  Not expensive and well-worth it, but kind of annoying.

You can also watch the first episode on AMC's website. Not sure if they are going to put up episode 2 though.

Yeah, well, we didn't want to worry you, being in England and all, but actually, it is not a TV show.  It is a reality show.  Yes, we have been struck by the zombiepocalypse, and the cameras are following a few individuals.  Being voted out is REALLY BAD, what with the hordes of undead hungrily roaming the lands. Sorry dude.

After watching The Walking Dead I realized that I might be screwed living in Atlanta.

Just saw episode two finally.

Was anyone else totally screaming into a pillow when the sheriff took the ax to the zombie and started covering himself with the guts?

I was grossed out, but at the same time thought it was totally AWESOME!!!

Curious about the car with the car alarm heading back towards the survivor camp.

Also, why didn't the sheriff guy check to see if he could turn the tank back on? You would be invincible in that thing as long as you have some fuel. But, I guess the noise and slow speed of the thing and not knowing how to drive a tank might kill that theory...

Those tanks can go 40+MPH...

On a different note I'm kind of disappointed that it's not being broadcast in HD.  Looks a bit fuzzy on my big screen.

So was the hacksaw too dull to cut through cuff chains but yet it was sharp enough to cut through a hand? Not an expert here on hacksaws....

Regarding the hacksaw - I don't know. Maybe we'll find out in a future episode. I'm sure we haven't seen the last of Merle.

I thought last night's episode was a bit slow. They seemed to need to get some plot items taken care of, so there was less action. From the trailers, it looks like next week's show may pick up the pace a bit.

Side note: my wife had complained that the Sons of Anarchy was too violent. I pointed out that she watches True Blood, and she said that was too fantastic to be scary, while SOA was about real stuff. So she watches WD with me, and that is also too violent, even though the premise is at least as goofy as True Blood. It was actually the scene at the end where the deputy beats up the wife-beater that caused the negative comment.

Cuff chains yes, I understand, but surely the metal bracket he was cuffed to would have been short work for the hacksaw...  and with the added benefit of not putting your life at risk.  Previews for the next episode look interesting.

Watched for the first time last night, 3 episodes, I think 2,3,4?  I'm hooked.

I know it's just a movie but damn,
1. when you see an empty city, like say Atlanta, don't go running around on Trigger and expect good things to happen, quote "dumba$$" I think the guy called him
2. you are in a tank with arsenal, DONT FIRE A WEAPON, unless you are about to be eaten I guess!
3. crank up the tank or al least try, run over their butts!  Yes and tank can go very fast on open terrain

But it's just a movie, and it's pretty cool

He seamed to be suffering from dementia so that could explain why he cut off his hand instead of the bar.

How about the plot twist where we find out Shane told Rick's wife he was dead.

I really liked last nights episode and I like how writers and producers are telling the story amongst the survivors. It's not the typical survivor vs. zombie situation of the week. As long as they keep telling strong stories, I'll be there each and every week. I have to admit, I did get a little choked up when the son ran towards his father after seeing him. I thought that particlar scene was really well done.

I don't know how many of you are fans of Frank Darabount's 'The Mist' but he cast quite a few people from that movie in 'The Walking Dead.' Highly recommend 'The Mist' as well. One of the best horror films in recent years, in my opinion.

Agreed.  I haven't read the comics, but it's now tops on my Xmas list.  But from what I've heard, the story is about the survivors, not the zombies.

P.S.  It's Stephen King's "The Mist", directed by Darabount.  ;-)  But yes, that's an AWESOME movie.  And I like Darabount's ending better.

I had a hard time with it (seemed a bit hokey with the creatures and all) ... until the end... wow!  What an ending!

For those asking about why he didn't attempt to start the tank, I believe it was because of where he entered.  The driver typically enters an M1 in the front of the hull.  The turret basket is where he went in.

As far as I know you can reach the driver's position from inside the turret.  Otherwise you would have to exit the tank to attend to an injured driver.

I can forgive it.  You are freaked out, barely survived a zombie attack, a guy is talking on the radio and telling you to make a run for it.  I'm not sure any of us would be thinking straight.

Besides there is no sun visor under which to hide the keys
