Not sure how this would look, but what about taking the first logo..

remove the triangle
remove the line
merge the heads of each of the 3 figurines and have each figure coming out of a triangular access line. Sort of like it was a pinwheel. It would be more abstract and generate a lot of "what's that tattoo mean?"

Nice work, you've got some great graphic skills.  And you only do it as a hobby?  I might take you up on your post 21 offer if we put a company team together for a tri next year.

I think your swimmers/bikers/runners look great, but they are a bit on the feminine side—just my opinion.

One person suggested "Fe-Man" - that's just odd, looks like a weird word play on Female.

Love the FFR logo, just love it.

The new desing is extremely cool.  That one is personalized specifically for your friend which makes it nice in my book

That was my thought exactly. No way I'd want that.

I actually liked both designs, but no on the Fe-Man.

ETA: I think it might look cool if you put the 140.6 on top and leave the graphics off--making it look more like the actual table.
