Anyone here enjoy fishing? (Page 2)

Pector, great fish! Josh, wish I could see the pics at work. I guess I am into fishing lol. Bored at work so will probably put some old pics up. Just got back from the Salmon River in NY for 4 days of Steelhead, so I have quite a few pics as well to post later.

i spent/spend most of my spring/summer/fall free time when not training wandering around/wading smaller rivers/streams in the midwest/east looking for anything that will bite.

if i can wade it its normally in my sights.


some of the better days in the past year were a local small river to my parents in ohio (no more than 5 feet deep in the deepest pools) and walking out of there after 5 hours and 30 or so smallmouth with the largest running 4-5 pounds.


this summer fishing the shurykill north of philly i caught two flatheads in the mid 20pound range on lightweight spinning gear, THAT was a fun time.


Heading to FL with family over new years and very excited to fish the sanibel/pine island sound area for a week:-)

Here's my son's first solo catch ever, last summer in Delaware. Luckily, I was within arm's length of him when he hooked that monster, or it might have pulled him right over the rail. He had such a blast--I can't wait to take him out again.

Love seeing kids fishing!

I love fshing in the Gulf of Mexico. Grew up doing it. Love trolling. Tuna, Mahi, King Macs, Wahoo... I also enjoy bottom fishing for Snapper, Grouper, Amber Jack.Cobia is about my favorite fishing though.

Taking the kids fishing is indeed special...

I've seen those Hogy??? lures before, but prefer the cheaper bass kandy delight!  Besides, anyone can target trophy stripers in shorts can't be my friend.

I will fold on the tri theme lol.  Those plastics are similar to the Hogy but made by my friend Got Strypers is their name. The hogy is too high priced to get bit in half by blues.

Hard to tell if that's a 15", 16", or 17" bucketmouth.  I assume you used artificial, but what kind (I don't think topwater)?
