Subject: RE: www.sale-bikes.comThere a couple of signs that a website is fake. This one looks professional at first glance, but it's just a website template that has been copied from a legitimate website and there are little things that give it away, like if you put letters instead of numbers for the phone number or just a random word instead of an email address and there is no error returned when you submit the form, also it doesn't take credit cards only bank transfers, which can't be disputed, unlike a credit card payment. And no paypal - paypal is secure and requires the seller to provide legitimate, traceable details. At the end of the day, if you see something ridiculously cheap on the internet, it's probably a scam. And you can always email them, ask them certain questions that are going to trip them up e.g do you sell Cervelo P2s in pink or do you sell Shimano Trek BMXs. Edited by zedzded 2014-01-23 9:11 PM
