My Knee feels better About 2.5 weeks ago I when I was running I kept getting shooting pains on the outside of my knee and after a little bit of research I self-diagnosed myself with ITBS. So I decided that with the summer still far away and the holiday season approaching I would just take 2 - 3 weeks off completely, let the injury heal and start running again but making sure to take all the appropriate measure to see that this injury does not reoccur. Well last night I was my first run since taking time off and no knee pain! I was so nervous before my run because I was just hoping that I would be pain free, and also where I live makes it impossible to avoid hills. Anyway I'm happy and just thought I would share. It pays to rest an injury properly, even though I didn't want to. |
