Swim
Comments: I had a difficult time getting into a rythym on the swim. I started off okay but faded really quick, which made it seem like a long swim. I think the cold water made it difficult it breath smoothly which wore me out fast. What would you do differently?: Definitely train more open water and cold water...... Transition 1
Comments: I was surprised at how quickly I was able to transition given with how tired I seemed to be coming out of the water Bike
Comments: I think the bike was my best part of this triathlon. I felt good on the bike and passed a few on the hills. Transition 2

Post race

Woke up early- breakfast of oatmeal & toast and a cup of coffee. Drove the 45 minutes to the event and arrived 1 1/2 prior to start.
1 mile jog, nice and slow. Set up my transition area and went for a short spin on the bike. Got my wetsuit on and got used to the chilly water!
