 Philadelphia, south of New York and north of DC |  Subject: Scuba-PunkLong time BTrs will know Frank Aponte aka scuba-punk as one of the sweetest, most inspirational members of the BT family. His wife, Jen, has been battling cancer over the past half year or so. Frank lost his beloved Jen yesterday. Frank is one of the reasons I latched on to this site well over a year ago. It still amazes me how someone you have never met in person could have such a positive affect on you. Frank is that kind of person. Our community blood banks are always looking for people to donate whole blood and blood components such as platelets and plasma." I'm going to go donate some blood as soon as I can (first I have to find out when I got my last tattoo, may have been less than a year), in Jen's honor. I think it would be nice if we could do a kind of BT blood drive. Those of us who are able and inclined to do so, anyway. |
