buc20 - 2012-01-09 2:29 PM Added 12 miles to Team Crowie!!!! My longest run yet, felt great but hot outside. It was 78 out, sorry my Northern friends!!!!:0)

I'd die!!!!  It never reaches 78 degrees here even in the middle of summer!!!  A hot day is in the upper 60's around here.

Wow! Your weather sounds awesome, plus no humidity!

3.25 miles yesterday afternoon. I'm going to the doctor today to get some drugs. I've been sick since Dec 23, and when I'm honest with myself, I'm really not that much better today than I was 10 days ago. :-(

Another lunch time run in the books - realized my light jacket is too warm so I need to bring something else from home so that I stop sweating out so badly!

I must say I do enjoy running at lunch - wish I would have started this a long time ago!

Soon you're going to run with that guy in shorts and a t-shirt! Wink

Running at lunch is the only way to go. It makes things so much easier. Especially in winter, when you get to run during daylight and the relative heat of the day. Keep it up.

Thanks. It turns out I have strep. No wonder I wasn't getting better. I took the antibiotic shot -- better to get it done once and for all -- so I hope to feel better in a day or two. I still ran this afternoon. I figured I would have run if I hadn't gone to the doctor, so what difference should going make? I might not have been thinking exactly logically, but I did it anyway. :-)

But you'll have to pay him for a picture. (pouting)

Well I was one step away from streaker dude today.  If I had shorts I would have doned them and my long sleeve whicking shirt - beautiful out.  One guy (must be streaker) was in just shorts.

Loving the lunch time runs - I highly recommend it

I squeezed one in myself today and woooeee!  It was a fast one (for me) but so pretty being on a trail away from work and all that stuff.  And... I have to say it's nice to be on a winning team - go MACCA!

I'm rolling, 2 runs this week!

My son may have the Flu (test was inconclusive after 24 hours of fever). 3 days of 103+ fever but this morning it was only 101.6, day 2 of Tamiflu so hopefully its kicking in.  Crossing fingers no one else in the family gets it.

Got 7km in last night and another 4 this morning. I'll be pushing for another 8 tomorrow am. Feeling good but still still fatigued after a hard swim (for me) this morning.
Keep it up team Macca.

4/12 (or 14?) completed on Tuesday and I have another planned for tonight.

There was a big meeting at work yesterday stating that they are restructuring our program and that everyone that works for it will have an individual meeting with their site manager today to see if they fit in the company's vision... Here I thought that my job was safe because I'm in health care!

That sucks.  Hopefully you and their "vision" align.
