Run
Comments: I did a 7:34 first mile and felt good. The second mile is almost totally up hill and did 8:15. Third mile I didn't have much left, but pushed hard as we ran around the Coors Field warning track. Finished the last 1.1 mile in 9:10. What would you do differently?: I need to build up some endurance to maintain my pace. I felt pretty good like I could keep running if the race was longer, I just couldn't pick up the pace. Post race
Warm down: Went in the stadium and had a banana and a bagel. I was really disappointed that they weren't serving their standard Hot Dogs. There is nothing like a ballpark hot dog after a run :) What limited your ability to perform faster: The hills in the second mile took a lot out of my legs. My neck was sore also from swimming in Open water yesterday. Event comments: I love this race. There is a good cross section of people and the organization is great. I love running on the warning track and seeing yourself on the Jumbotron. I'll do this race each year if possible. Last updated: 2006-05-04 12:00 AM

Ate my pre-race morning muffing and had a little Coca-Cola (Caffine)
Walked around and did a little stretching just to loosen up.
