Subject: Lower knee pain from the bike
I've taken the last 4 days off for my birthday weekend and today I did a medium intensity ride at a slightly higher cadence than I've been riding over the last few months.  My knee was a little sore earlier, but it is very tender after my ride.  The pain is right in the center of the knee, below the knee cap.  I made some slight adjustments to my setup a week or so ago (and of course I forgot to write down what I changed).  Any thoughts on things that might cause pain in the front lower portion of the knee?

I think you answered your own question. Any idea how much did you changed your saddle position?

It's hard to tell, because your subject says lower knee pain, but then you say the pain is in the center of your knee, below the kneecap.

If the pain is at the botttom of your kneecap, my first reaction is that your seat is too low.  did you adjust your seat height?

By below my kneecap, I mean just down the leg (so lower knee).  I don't have the exact changes I made so I can't just make them back.  I'm going to go chat with the person who did my fit and see if she has any suggestions.

Initially I thought my seat was to low, but when I look at my leg in a photo there isn't a lot of bend in my knee.
