10 mile Shamrock Shuffle road race.

Now its time for some corned beef and cabbage! Possibly a green beer also, but only one as I have a 10K road race tomorrow. My version of Disney's "Goofy Challenge"Laughing

2 hours on the bike in Balinese traffic. On 1-10 terrible idea scale, this was a 9!!! (It would be 10, but I'm not seriously harmed).

I should have just taken my bike on the road for real for the first time at Ironman. It was that bad.

My sis took a picture of me before I got in my car to go to the "safest" stretch of road here ...

30 minute spin to work the soreness out of my legs.   Off to the pool this afternoon for a 4000.  Not sure how I'm break it up.

Yanti, knowing what a hand full you are, and seeing your sister, and knowing about siblings, I'm not sure I could take the both of you together.  But I'm willing to try. Cool  Really, how often do you two get out of hand?

MerYanti, good to see you are still in one piece.

2 hours on the bike for me this morning in a group ride. These are the guys that make me work. It's all good!

Enjoy whatever your day brings.

Didn't even think about it and I went out running in a bright green shirt today. Maybe there's some Irish in my blood. (No, not even remotely.)

3.5 mile run today. Going out for a nice bike ride once the temps get over 50 today. Happy St. Patrick's Day, all!

Every time we get together. We actually don't see each other that often, which is a good thing, as it puts a severe dent in the manner of the universe.

And here's what those who know us best understand: she's the truly far-out crazy one. Me and my little life on the hill are pretty sedate in comparison.

My plan calls for a longer run today.  I'm running a 5 mile St. Patrick's day run with my wife.  I'll also run the course myself before the race to get my miles in.  Afterwards is a SPD parade.  Than pints of green beer.

Slainte!!

Well today had the laundry and housecleaning scheduled ... oh you said what workouts we had planned.  In the afternoon I stopped being house-husband long enough to go run 10K of hills.  My legs felt dead though - I'm guessing from yesterday's intervals.  Looks and feels like summer is here.

I did a sprint tri this morning and forgot my eff'n bike shoes at home! Had them sitting by my bag and just walked out without them. Needless to say, my bike ride sucked a$$. First time I've ever forgotten anything for a race.

Ahhh, crappy! First time for everything...

Just had a lovely 13 mile ride on my bike, Tessa. Sun is shining, there's dirt in my teeth, and happy dogs out chasing me. Hello, spring!

3.5 mile run with my son.....still working through some ITBS problems, but able to run at 8:10 pace with  minimal pain so it's getting there.  Started a hip girdle strength routine yesterday to go with the foam rolling.....I'm hopeful.

Greetings!  It's raining alot here in Los Angeles.  No long outdoor bike ride for me.  Got in ~45 minutes on the trainer this morning in mid to low Z2.  Almost forgot about my dentist appointment so I had to stop and get ready for that.  My trainer needs maintenance...  I'll get a long swim in today in a couple hours before I do that.  =)

20k trail race in the books. Tstorms last night made it extra fun. Puddles upon puddles made it very wet. Last mile I also took a wrong turn and had about 5 people follow me. Went about .3 miles out of the way...Oh well, it was still a good, wet time.

Holy brick today....

1:30 on the trainer (19.1mph average, 245 watt average on Trainer Road)

Then I went out for a run intending to be 3-4 miles but went 7.15 at a monster pace of 7:03min miles.  I was pushing a lot harder than I would for a full 13.1, but it was awesome...

I was firing on all cylinders today!

So hot here I almost turned green from training!  90 minute run including 10 X 3-minute tempo intervals. PM 3200m swim. Pool felt like a bathtub. (It's indoors but solar-heated, and there's way too much "solar" this time of year. Arrrrgh!
