Yep, just got back from the race site, all transition spots are assigned, there are stickers just like on our bikes on the transition racks.  Little numbers towards the bike exit, big numbers towards the run exit/swim entrance.  I forgot to see what the biggest number out there was.  Supposedly they made the call last night to assign T-racks.

I was out there too. The number is over 1300. The Athlete Briefing wasn't very much some guy was reading the last email I got. Was wondering can we do our own Body Marking or do we have to have them do it?

For the Kansas City Triathlon can we do our own body markings and what do we need to mark. Just out race number on the bi-cep or An Age Group Identifier as well on the back calf? Has any one used TriTats for body markings?

My guess:  they don't care who wrote your number on you, just so you have it.

I used TriTats for a race last year.  I think it was the corporate challenge.  They worked fine and are nice, but if you are the only one there with them, you might seem rather anal.

I am number 683.  If anyone wants to say high and introduce yourself, my rack is dead center on the beach house building against the blue fence on the west side of the transition area.  I will have a white and neon yellow Zoot tri top and probably a neon yellow visor on before the race.  Look for this bike:

Good luck to everyone!!!!!

The swim out, run out/in was a little confusing.  When you exit the lake you will run uo the hill and turn left when you hit the transition area fence, then run south to the entry on the south end.  The bike out and in is on the north end.  The run out is on the south end, you turn left then left again to run north along the outside of the east side of the transition area until get to the road.  Sounds confusing, but really isn't.  Just remember anytime you are running anywhere without a bike, you do it in and out of the south end.  If you have a bike, use the north end.

The facebook page said they would give them out race morning.  Probably code them with your number as you get your body markings.

They give out the chips at the race.  I believe the reason is so that there arent any people who show up asking for another chip because they forgot / lost theirs.

Looks like chance of iso thunderstorms ending by 5:00AM, winds down to under 10mph, and temps about 68-70 by the time we hit the bike.  Nice.

Our father, who art in transition
hallowed be thy race number
Thy swim to come in open water as it is in pool
forgive us our swim fight and we forgive those who swim over us
but lead us to transition
But deliver us from DNF - Amen

I have bike/bib number of 1455 but only saw the bike racks number up to 1375.   I registered back in Feb, so was hoping for a lower number.   Maybe the lower numbers were reserved for the 5i50 competitors.
