Took a bit longer to get into a rhythm than it should have. Once we were headed down stream I was good. This was very close to the time I was aiming for.
What would you do differently?:

I'd love to be able to draft, but just can't ever find someone just a bit faster than me and stay with them.

I think I did well enough in this considering the run. Wetsuit got stuck for a second coming off, but other than that it wen well enough

Put everything into this. Just felt like I kept getting passed. Pretty sure i was pushing as much as I could and save enough to run later.

I just need to spend more time in the saddle.

This went well, except forgetting my 305. I figured it out before getting out of the transition area, but figured I wouldn't waste the time going back.

So my goal was 2:45, but with the extra long transition and the slower than planned bike I knew there was no real chance of hitting my time. My quads were definitely the limiting factor. Kept cramping up. Since I wasn't going to hit my time, I figured I wouldn't push through and be in pain for a few days.

The water "bods" were pretty cool. I'd grab a couple at each aid station, open one up and drink and dump it on me then hold onto the other for about half a mile and do it again. Worked out well.
