Yall are nasty.

Please don't come around me smelling like sweaty vinegary stinky freaks.

And yes, when I'm done with a tri I do, in fact, smell like lavender.

Asalzwed - 2012-06-14 7:07 AM Oh god, I don't usually have issues but the most recent one I got smells like burnt hair and consequently I smell like burnt hair after wearing it. I have washed it like 20 times, still no dice.

Twice with Penguin wash on regular agitation?

I left my transition backpack with WET STUFF from CA 70.3 in it for MONTHS.

Two cycles with Penguin wash and the pack, and everything in it (all sorts of colors, textures and odors I did not even know existed) and the stuff was as good as new. Four years later I still have the same tri top and shorts.

It might be okay for the weave, but it sure seems to break the elastic down a lot faster.

Certainly, the guy that stands to gain from my gear wearing out faster wouldn't omit such a crucial detail...

I know....I've got jog bras that I have had for up to 5 years (or some maybe more) and they've been in the dryer dozens of times.  Trishorts don't hold up *quite* as well, but as far as I know, none of mine are currently see-through and have had a few pair for 3 years or so.

Maybe it helps that I have lots of workout clothes, so I'm not washing and drying them more than once every 1-2 weeks?

But...I don't have time or patience to hang dry all over the place.  Nor do I hand wash my bike bottles.  That's what the dishwasher is for!
