If I had to give a "Best of Interbike" Award it would go to Richard Verney and 2XU for their new saddle pad that is designed to work specifically with saddles like the ISM Adamo.

I'd be a little skeptical about those. 'Looks like a prime suspect for continual straightening/repositioning to try to find just the right spot ...

They have The higher density area where you don't sit on the Adamo saddle (maybe if your on a road bike) does that seem logical? I would think it would be nicer for lower density in the back and higher in the front.

Well, I think they would at least be worth a try.

The problem I have with my Adamo and bike shorts is that often the chamois ends right at the crease where my leg meets...the rest of me (you know...THERE).  That causes chafing in the crease.  If the chamois extends past that point...it's hard to describe but then I end up feeling like I am sitting on a tight piece of fabric that doesn't really let things settle down.  If the chamois is narrower than that I'm not sitting on it.

So, yeah, I'll probably at least buy a pair and see how it goes...are they on sale yet?

There was a woman a few months ago who posted a very "interesting" and unfortunate problem she was having with her bike fit and saddle. I wonder if this would cure her issues. If you don't remember her, the title of her post was "Horrific Clitoris."

I noticed that too, seems odd but perhaps they are more comfortable that way...2XU usually makes a good product. I may have to put my butt in 'em and see for myself!!!

I am having the same exact problem and is getting very, very painful such that it may keep me from doing longer stuff.  Chamois cream, vasoline, moving around ...nothing seems to help.  I will try just about anything except a saddle with a nose on it!

It took me more than a month to get comfy on my Adamo, lots of little adjustments here and there and finally, me and the family jewels are happy. I am not changing anything on my setup. Ever.

Regular tri shorts are not well thought out for the adamo design and I have cut the chamois out for short rides. I have the same issue when the chamois as it sits right in the crease of my legs and about 30km in the seam is cutting into me :-(. So I need to try something for the HIM I have coming up.

I will be waiting t see what the test subjects think after they've used them a while. I would think the highest density foam should be where your sit bones are since that is where the highest pressure is on these saddles. I can also see where if you move around a little you may not have enough padding in the front.

doubt they will work out quite right as the pad will more than likely move around too much. I'll wait until reviews come out from other owners.

I have found the scudo pro tri shorts to be pretty comfy. http://scudopro.comand pull up a trishort picture and you can view the pad. This seems to work pretty well with my adamo seat. I also have tyr shorts and it doesn't work very well. The pad is not quite wide enough compared to the the adamo seat.
