Woot! Got my first little run in. We're in the process of moving...closed on our old house but new house is not ready so in a residence inn hotel and i'm doggin' it lately! so this challenge helps kick my tired butt out the door.

I got out for a great run this morning. Nice medium rain and brisk wind, if only it had been colder.

89 points this morning kids. You all lucky we didn't start this 10 days ago when the wind and snow were really moving. Looking at a heat wave coming up so might be the only points for a while.

wgraves7582 - 2012-10-25 8:58 AM I promise I will work on spreadsheet tonight after I get home.  Was going to do it this morning at work but ran out of time and our network does not allow google docs for some reason.

I'm back in again, although today on my run it was 85 degrees. How is that possible on November 1?

So am I the only one with great crappy weather right now. It has been awesome here. Temps in the upper 20's, winds in the 20-30 mph range and lots of rain/snow mix. I'm loving the start of this years challenge. If this weather holds for everyone for a few more days I could have a great shot at a win this year.

I just need the temperature to drop 1 more degree (celcius), then I can start adding points to the board.. Come on, cold snap!

Looks iffy til next weekend for even the opportunity to earn points ( Lowest overnight low 37 over the next 8 days and by the time I go to work it will probably be too warm)

I'm new to this so I have questions...

What are the minimum "crappy" conditions in order to earn points?

Is there a minimum "crappy" condition difference - bike vs run?  Swim?

wgraves7582 - 2012-11-06 8:26 AM We are heading back up to the 60's by this weekend - love these early season weather swings!

That will give the rest of us a chance to catch you.

In again!  Thanks to Bill for getting this together for another season of craptastic training fun.  I have a short bike commute to work that I'd like to keep up as long as possible, so this is good motivation.

Always fun to see what kind of run mileage we can rack up in the nastiest of conditions.  I'm doing back-to-back trail marathons on 11/31 - 12/1.  Let's hope it snows sideways in sub-zero temps.  Sealed
