Subject: RE: RaceDay Apollo It's a good tool. To really make it work, you have to do a few time trials in your respective legs to get a good enough model. If you're into planning stuff and figuring yourself out, it's a good tool. The time trials can fatigue you though, that's one complaint. The most useful graph is the effect curve. The curve is nice that you can see where your body will start to "supercompensate" and can plan quality workouts around that. Where it falls apart for me is when I have a hectic day or week at work and the model becomes less accurate. R2 <40. So I can see Raceday being more useful with someone who can more or less control their daily stress, sleep, and schedule. If it's worth $125? I don't know but I haven't regret using it. |
