Swim
Comments: Got a bit off course on the swim, tried to keep effort level low to avoid too high a heart rate. What would you do differently?: Push a bit harder in the mid-section Transition 1
Bike
Comments: Overall was a pretty good ride, I would have liked to have had my garmin working, felt a bit lost without any speed or cadence data. Got stronger as the bike leg went and finished strongly. What would you do differently?: Do some 20 min TT efforts in practice Transition 2
Run
Comments: I felt quite fatigued as I started the run and thoughts went through my head that my lack of running in training was going to get me. Once I relaxed and got into a steady pace I felt good and managed a steady pace through the whole run with a bit of a kick at the end. My ankle started aching a bit from 5k but never got worse. Post race
Warm down: We had cold showers to walk through then sports drink, water melon, bananas and oranges. I couldn't stop coughing for the first few minutes. What limited your ability to perform faster: Having a cold, still need to increase my cycling. Event comments: The Noosa tri is very special, a great race and famous triathletes everywhere. Macca was starting his run as I started my swim. Pete Jacobs, Caroline Steffen, Crowie all there. Last updated: 2012-05-27 12:00 AM

Got up at 4am, drank water, ate milo cereal and had a coffee and a banana. Got Allisone to drop off in Noosa at around 5:20am.
After setting up in transition went over and had another coffee and chatted with people at the surf club.
