TankBoy - 2013-03-01 1:51 PM She is out of T1 - 19:24!

Is that a long time? It seems like a long time but I'm not an IM-er

She had talked about doing a full dry off and change, to warm up.

I remember her saying that as well.  Based on the time it looks like she held herself to the plan.

She's smart to take her time in T1.  Comfort is going to be key for her.  I'm more worried about the other screwy things that can happen during an IM than her actual fitness.

PinkPrincess - 2013-03-01 1:51 PM She just left T1 - 19:24 in the tent. Hope she's okay!

Too much melon pressing in the tent...

Eh, my T times were in the 15-20 min ranges... for both IM's. Not worrisome.

Go Yanti go!

The 45k split tracking seems to be lagging based on the pro's.

Her last IM she went out too fast from T1 and they had to pull her off the bike due to hypothermia.  Blue lips and shaking and stuff.

Makes sense to dry off, get warm, and situated this time around.

LOL...I guess I'm going by my own "If I stop for too long I'll never get going again" style. My T1 was under six minutes and my T2 nine and change (and I thought that was awful long). If it's all part of the plan, then it's all good!

I wonder if the Ironman Tracker people look at the search stats and wonder who the heck this Ardie woman from Indonesia is, and why she's so popular.

That's in T2!  I'm always excited to get on the bike in T1.  I don't stop long enough to think in T2.

They really should know by now. Not her first time at the rodeo. But this time, she has fortune on her side. Hr bib number is the same as my first tri bib number. I figured there was an error (computer geek joke) but I had a great race. So she has that good vibe I'm sending her way, which, you know, is nice.

Pretty sure my T2's for both IM's were around 19 mins... T1 around 15 mins.

When I track Yanti I like to let the dogs get a good scent then turn them loose.

The music on Ustream is cracking me up.  It's a mix of 90s music (Every time I look Around) with a few new ones.

By the way, the leaders cleared the turnaround...

Now it's Credence Clearwater Revival.  Strange mix.

I think she was a volunteer and wasn't paying attention.

That's just craziness.

I just want to rant about Ironman.live. No bike splits have been updated. No ones. How hard can that be?

I'm guessing that there is no internet connection or wireless data available to update the bike splits to the web?

Is she out of the race for some reason or tracker just not working. I've got nothing but the swim and T1.

Sounds like a typical IM day and tracker is not working
