Subject: not new but newly focused....
hello all, i'm not necessarily new to tri but am finally gonna suck it up and train for one. i've done 2 sprints and now it's time to get serious about kickin and taking names. i've been training, well if you wanna call it that for about a year and a half. my workouts are something to be desired as far as consistency and structure goes. yea, i'm at the damn gym 5 and 6 days a week, but i don't know where it's gotten me. but now, i've got a plan, got the time, got the equipment, and got the drive. my heads in the right spot so here we go. my first workout is tonight using the 16 week 2x's balanced plan which should land me just in time for a sprint in october. i don't just want to finish this one, i want to slam it!! so, here goes.

I'm sure the gym stuff has been beneficial to your overall conditioning.  The 2x sprint plan is a good start on a structured plan.  Hope the training goes well, if any questions, let us know.
