Guys

I was having problems in using my 310XT in getting accurate data for open water swim.
Wearing 310XT on my wrist with all the updates still i am not getting a good reading.
I was told by my friend to set up my goggles to where whatever stroke i use my Garmin will
gather accurate data. It worked well. I just thought to share it with all of you.

Cheers

I tried on my goggles and swam with friends at the lake and I got accurate data:

cool.  trick setup.

I just toss mine in my swim cap- works fine.

my other trick is to set it to auto lap every 1/4 or 1/2 mile, so I hear the chirp and know how far I've gone.  Guess you could do this by time as well, such as every 15 minutes.

I hear ya man., but i am still paranoid it might fall off, on race day have alot of things to think about, but i like the auto lap, reminds me have to grab hold of kayak after 500m.

Stroke after stroke, my pace was pulling me out into the middle of the lake quickly. The cover seemed to be getting thicker. But still in the distance, the little boathouse was my lighthouse.
