Alright, I'm going for diversity points here

1.the hula hooping

2.I've never NOT caught the bouquet at a wedding (and I've been to A LOT of weddings)

3.I ran a milk mile in 7:08 (thats 4 laps, 4 cups of milk)

Bonus: I turned the light off yesterday by hitting the switch with a nerf dart first try.

I'm not sure what all this means.

Hmmm....I have the motor skills of a five year old, so I can't claim any amazing party tricks. My Chinese friends claim I'm really good at imitating regional accents and famous people. With enough alcohol, I can be called upon to imitate the Beijing subway lady announcing the stops on the circle line, various Chinese leaders giving speeches, and jokes about people from various provinces. Only useful at a Chinese party. Oddly, I'm not that good at imitating accents in my native language, only in Chinese.

Awesome... I always lament that poor lady stuck inside the Stop&Shop register who gets super excited about your savings as you scan an item. You can easily mime her, but in Chinese!

This is ridiculously awesome. When did you start learning Chinese? Were you a musical kid? And I don't think it would only work at Chinese parties...have a few beers and shoot us some YouTube

No, not musical. I'm a horrible singer; even Chinese wince at my karaoke attempts. I have NO conventional "talents", to the great frustration of my very musically talented mother, and dad, who excelled at all those ball/team sports. Thus endurance sports. Talent counts far less than ability/willingness to endure suffering. Studied Chinese in college (again, ability to endure suffering) and lived in Beijing for nine years; had only Chinese TV so got to watch a lot of leaders mouthing off on TV, and rode the subway a lot. You hear the same buzzwords from various political campaigns over and over and over again, and I think they're intended to get stuck in your head. They're just stuck in my head with the exact accent of the person who said them. "We will resolutely uphold the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics." GAG!

Lots of good stuff here.  Alas, the only thing I can think of that could even remotely be considered a special talent is the ability to shell and eat sunflower seeds about as fast as I can feed them into my month.  I can crack, spin, and extract the seed with my teeth and tongue in one motion.  If I'm watching a movie or a game, I can keep up a chipmunk like pace for hours.

Impressive! Again, I can't do this.  I alwas just end up eating the whole thing because I don't have the patience.

OK, like Salty, I'm trying to see how disparate I can make my three points:

1) I bake by feel--pie crusts, pizza dough, bread, cookies, quickbreads--handfulls and pinches style, and in the winter I cook that stuff in an Amish wood cookstove.

2) I've read the Iliad and the Odyssey in the original Attic Greek, though each one took a year.

3) I was taught self-hypnosis as a kid, and use it regularly as an adult--learning a new technique in something, public speaking, training/competing, child birth etc.

I can spin almost any flat object (books, ping-pong paddles, album covers, cereal boxes) on my finger like a frisbee.

And I can juggle a little.

I am jealous of some people's talents. About all I can do is solve a Rubik's cube. And completely misunderstand what my wife is thinking/feeling 100% of the time.

Did you learn the Rubik's Cube thing by reading the book, or did you just figure it out.  I actually tried to learn how to do this, and, again, didn't have the patience.  (uh oh, I see a trend)

100% misunderstanding is also pretty impressive.  I certainly have days (weeks?) when I do that with my husband and they suck.  Sorry man :/

Switch, this one is a big Wow to me! The books themselves are no small task.
I read War and Peace in the unoriginal English and had to keep notes on characters and name nuances.
Very impressive.

Thank you. I had the 8 Track tape when I was a kid. I might be a little rusty - maybe I could get the cd and practice every time I drive to Elko, the 4 hours should do it.... What's the buzz, tell me what's happening'.....

Anyone can solve the Rubik cube.  I use to do it all the time.  You just take all the pieces apart and put them back together again.  Works much better with the original Rubik's, the pieces come apart and go back together easier then the knock off cubes
