Good morning Ghoulies!

I did not get a run in last night.

I took Keri to another HS softball game, she really likes to go watch, and chase down foul balls and return them to the coaches.

When we got home after the game she pitched for a little bit, she was ON last night, which was good to see since she hasn't been lately. By the time we got n the house it was 7:00. Caleb was just getting in, too, from helping split wood. Donnie was putting things away. I made dinner, tossed Keri in the shower and started getting my things ready for work.

Caleb has soccer practice tonight, unless it rains. Either way I should be able to get some miles in tonight.

I've got to start taking the time for myself every day to workout!

Now, don't forget to schedule a little pampering time also.

I got my workout in yesterday listening to a phone conference. It is an EPA monthly meeting that I just listen to so it was easy to ride on the spin bike with the phone on speaker.

Kendra. The pollen is here, too. It is just starting. Today is rainy and we have the green puddles. The last two days were PERFECT weather. I surely wish you guys could have been here for it. After today it is going back to more April-like temps.

They are calling for potential rain the next 5 days. I would like some PERFECT weather!

Did I tell you guys I ordered a stand up paddle board?  I found the one I wanted, last year's model, on sale at a great price. I ordered it on Monday, it was delivered yesterday. I still need to find a paddle for it, but I have time, I'm not taking it out yet. Keri can use her surfboard as a SUP. Caleb said he'll stick to the kayaks.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

 I am jealous! I want one, but they are not in our budget right now.

I have wanted one for a few years now. I had money saved up, and didn't spend as much on the trip last weekend as I thought I would, since Donnie bought some meals, and put gas in the car. I thought if I didn't buy it then I'd spend the money on something else. I hope I get a lot of use out of it!

Good Morning Ghoulies!  I think the dogs just woke up the whole neighborhood.  We have 2 dogs, and live on the corner.  neighbors on one side have 2 dogs, neighbors behind have 3 dogs.  This morning all the dogs decided to meet at the fence corners and have a bark fest!  Wow!

I went out and settled them down.  All is quiet now, thankfully. sheesh

I am here!  I guess not saying much.  Sometimes I read the updates in my email instead of coming to the site, so I can't reply.

That sounds fun.  like work, but fun...

Maybe there's something big going down. Wasn't it the barking chain that was used in 101 Dalmatians?

Didn't sound like good info being passed on this morning!  LOL     But now my dogs are napping.

Happy FFFFriday!

I am happy to report that I got 1.8 miles in last night, around the track at the soccer fields, before the rain, but not in my new shoes. The weather was bad. I was surprised that soccer practice even lasted for 2 hours, it rained most of the time, and hard. When it started raining I finished my lap and headed for the car. It was only 48 out. Rain and cold SUCKS!

It is 7:38 in the am and my work day is already more than half over. That is the only good thing about being on-call.

Today is my day off. I am going to get my allergy shot and go shop for replacement pots for my plants. There are two that still have plants in them that need to be re-potted. The pot is cracked and one side is gone on one and the other is ready to split in two. The plants inside are already showing stress.

Kendra, I had a wild hair yesterday afternoon and though "I should just go to Kendra's and do that race". Then I took the dog for a walk around the yard, stepped in a soft spot and had to ice my foot all evening afterward. Today it is SORE.

I am not doing anything today that involves feet if I can help it.

That was smart not to get the new shoes ruined on their first outing.

Wow, I thought I had posted this morning.  Guess I wrote it and never hit submit.  It's been a busy day today.

Robin - haven't found anyone yet to fill you spots tomorrow.  Everyone is already booked with plans.

Ann - great on the run even it you weren't wearing your new shoes.

Dee - Glad the dogs settled down.  Interesting in how all three yards of dogs participated in the sing-off.

Another crazy weekend at my house.

Saturday Keri and I left the house a little after 7:00. We stopped and got a quick breakfast, then shopped for an Easter dress for her, and a nice shirt for Caleb.

When we got home I had a few minutes to pack Caleb a lunch before I dropped him off at soccer practice from 10:00 to 2:30. They took a half hour break around noon and had lunch. After I dropped him off I came home and helped Keri get ready for softball practice. We went to practice early so she could practice pitching. We practiced for almost an hour before her 2 hour softball practice started. As soon as she was done we headed to the soccer fields to pick up Caleb. We ended up bringing 2 other boys who live near us home, too.

Once we got home I made the 3 of us something to eat. It was 3:20 until we had lunch on Saturday.

At 4:00 Keri and I went outside. She practiced pitching, fielding, and batting until about 6:45. Her dad got home around 5:30, and he worked with her from then until I went outside and told her it was time to stop. She came in I tossed her in the bath tub. We kind of just picked at stuff for dinner.

Yesterday morning I didn't get out of bed until after 8:00. I was awake, I just didn't get out of bed. I did half an hour of yoga in the morning. I'm feeling it today. Made lunch. Then we were going to go for a bike ride, but we ended up playing 2 on 2 basketball in the driveway for about 45 minutes. We had to stop because we had to get Keri to her volleyball clinic. I know the person running the clinic. Since it was such a nice day out, instead of having the girls run laps inside the gym to warm up we went outside and ran a lap around the community center property. I went with the girls. It was basically a sprint the whole way for me to keep up. I'd guess maybe 400ish yards. I got the lead group of girls back to the parking lot, then I went maybe 100 yards back and ran with a girl who was struggling. I got her to the parking lot, then went back about 100 yards again and brought in a girl whom I'm pretty sure walked the entire way. I made her run the last part with me.   I didn't run a lot, but my Achilles is really bothering me this morning. After volleyball we stopped at the high school softball field on the way home and spent about another hour pitching and fielding. I had Keri ice her shoulder several times this weekend. I don't want to see her get an overuse injury before the season even starts.
