Good morning Ghoulies!  We are actually having some nice weather for  a few days.  DH took the dogs out to play ball and go on a walk and they all enjoyed so much.

On the flip side, much of my family is sheltering from tornadoes and other rough weather.  Hope that you all are safe!

Since you guys typically have yucky weather I'm glad you're having some nice weather.

They are calling for several days of rain here. I played with the dogs outside yesterday afternoon for a LOOOONG time, knowing we wouldn't be out again for a few days. It seems since spring has gotten here they have a  lot more energy.

I am so sorry for your loss.  Hugs to you and to his family.

Yes we are really enjoying the sun!  It is even supposed to be 80 tomorrow and Thursday.  Hard to imagine!

It's supposed to be rainy and breezy here today, but you an Jim are more than welcome to come on up, relax at the house, read a book, scratch the pups behind the ears, get away from the tornadoes or whatnot.

That would be lovely. Caylee and Milo will have fun. I'll bring pizza for dinner for everyone.

3 dogs bouncing around the house... you may want to put the cats in the office and close the door for their own protection.

Rocco's is 2 miles away, we can get pizza there for dinner. The dogs will bark when you get there, but their bark is worse than their bite, make yourself at home.

I am WFH today. The list of roads closed in the county last night was extensive, and it was still raining when I read the list. The road behind the schools that 95% of the buses use was flooded yesterday afternoon. I headed out this morning, but I wasn't driving through water flowing across the road. I came home. I'm actually surprised that school isn't delayed this morning.

I have homework I need to get done this afternoon. I want to get it done while the kiddos are in school so I can do something with them this evening.

Ann, that does sound like WFH is your better option today.  Hope the kiddos have a safe trip to school.  What fun do you have planned for the evening?

We didn't get to do anything. I thought sports practices would be cancelled because the fields would be too wet, they weren't.

Keri has gym class the last class of the day. She came home from school yesterday limping and complaining of knee pain. I had her ice her knee down. I texted her softball coaches and told them I thought she was developing some tendonitis and I didn't want her running. They said that was fine, they were going to focus on batting anyway. She came home last night all but in tears because her knee hurt, and Donnie said she pretty much just stood around the last hour because the girls were running bases and such. He said they didn't even have her in as catcher so she wouldn't have to be up and down. She is supposed to have practice with her other team tonight but I'm not taking her. I'm not letting her do much this weekend, other than rest and ice. She won't take Motrin.

Nope. I'm going out this afternoon after work to do some running around, and errands, and such. I was going to look for it then.

I decided yesterday I was going to do January's ab challenge this month. 1 day down, 29 to go!

ooo, what a good idea.  I had let it slide.  i think I will give it another go, too.

Did I mention that I have started learning Tai Chi?  It is very good for balance and toning.  It is both relaxing and energizing.  Very interesting.  The Y where I work sent some staff to be certified in it.  So now they are teaching some forms.  It is a 9 session class.

That is awesome! I've heard great things about Tai Chi. So you're liking it?
