She seems to be falling behind
Considering that she made a push and is now slipping off the back again, not real reassuring. Yes but apparently she can give up 10 minutes and still run everyone on the marathon. That's what I keep hearing. She better get on it then. My opinion, she's roasted. I'm not as certain. It could be her strategy. They're being fed information about where they stand. If she's confident she can run 10 minutes faster than her competition, she only needs to come off the bike within less than that. She may have intentionally backed off to save it for the run. She's not going to run 10 minutes faster than Kessler I wouldn't bet on that. ETA: They're talking about Rinny right now, saying it looks like she was just sticking to her race strategy. She definitely can't be ruled out. Edited by TriMyBest 2013-10-12 5:38 PM |

She definitely can't be ruled out. It should shape out good but with Kessler's work this year, Rinny is going to have to run a PR to catch her. I still don't think it's going to happen. And onto the men, Seby is going to crush this. Edited by thebigb 2013-10-12 5:44 PM |

I think she can put something up that's no more than 6-8 mins off Rinny which should make it really interesting. At least if all the talk this year about her run focus holds true. We will see in a couple hours. Right now she's running sub 2:50 splits...I don't know the course but that's a bit quick. This women's race is definitely much more interesting now that Chrissy is done. I love how they neglect to mention that during all their "OMG the women are racing like the men now!" talk. Yeah, it's because they aren't all chasing Chrissy from half an hour back. Edited by thebigb 2013-10-12 5:51 PM |
