I have the Speedo Contoured Paddles, and the rubber straps have disintegrated. I'm thinking I should be able to pick up some type of rubber tubing like those used in more generic paddles instead of buying new. Any ideas on what type of store would sell those?

I get rubber tubing for my older speedo paddles from Lowes, Home Depot, or the local hardware stores. Works great and I've had my paddles for a long, long, time!

I've noticed when running that my hands start to swell. I started running with a fuel belt and started sipping water about 15 minutes into my run. It seemed to help for a few runs, but not all.

Use this tutorial anytime you see a 'pull' workout indicating paddles. Use a pull buoy too.

I started out swimming only 50 yards at a time. In the beginning I would swim with training paddles and a float between my legs. I struggled to stay on top of the water.
