I've been a distance runner all my life, and naturally pretty skinny, so I don't think it's been a very dramatic change since starting tri. My weight's pretty much the same but guessing more of it is muscle. I can tell the difference in my body--stronger core, a bit more upper body strength and definition--but I'm afraid an outside observer could not. Anyway, the photos would have to be in a bikini to show anything, and I refuse to #1 pose anywhere in a bikini and #2 post said pictures on a public forum!  |

Strong, strong work everyone :) Ziggie, doing that as a couple is very cool. ------ Mine may not be as impressive as my weight gain was pregnancy, but as a shout-out to all the moms who tri: "Abs" on the way out the door to deliver #2 (65lbs heavier than I am right now). Yes, my daughter was sitting on my belly. I was even bigger with #3 (73lbs bigger than I am now), who will be 4 in July.

Awesome and a diver to boot too. Ya I recently saw an old picture of me in my wetsuit when I was like 270 lbs and I just sold my old drysuit from 270 lbs. My 200 lb drysuit is much better. Congrats to everyone. I should dig up some old pictures and remind myself. Because I am up about 25 lbs this winter. |

And it took a bit of lead to get me down Unfortunately, as I started exercising to get in better shape for diving, I started exercising more and diving less This pic is actually taken at the top of the stairs that is the exit from the swim from my first tri two years later..... |
