54 I had several 45s but those are hardly even noteworthy That's shocking. I played with the calculator. I would have to DOUBLE my weight and get to 480 lbs... WOW. Plus I'm already "fat" so I have a head start... IKR? I wonder why the pt has knee pain??????? I see BMIs in the 40s daily. I usually get one over 50 once or twice a week. Normal is considered under 25 I don't know who picked that number but I think it should under 27. Probably less than 10% of the pts I see are under 25 I feel fat at 28 BMI (right now). My highest was 35. My BMI at IM CdA was 26.5. I'm at 28 and I don't FEEL fat. I AM fat. I'm on a mission after doing the calculations when I saw the post about the 54... Lose 30 lbs in 3 months (or there abouts). I'm thinking of paying the $150/ month *gulp* to the crossfit gym down the street (which includes nutritional guidance) for the 3 months and see if I can do it. |

I think crossfit is a great workout but its not my cup of tea. It doesn't give me the mental health break form life that I need like SBR does. I need to be stronger but my reality is I HATE strength training. Its so frigging BORING and everyone RAVES about how WONDERFUL the corssfit gyms or boxes are and I had a very negative experience. I can work out on my own at home thankyouverymuch. I too need to find a happy medium |

I can work out on my own at home thankyouverymuch. I too need to find a happy medium I'm pretty much the same BUT, the "same" hasn't been working for me. Get into it for 2-3 weeks, then give up because it's not fun anymore. It's a task to s/b/r OR lift weights - not feeling yoga and the multitude of other things. I hope that this would be a "spark" I need. Something new I never tried, the group thing, plus the expense might make me get my money's worth. I'm drowning right now and trying to find something to grab hold of. I'm not getting fatter, but I'm just tired and weak and unmotivated.

I hate being sick inthe summer months! If the kids weren't home, I would have stayed home, at least here I can close my door to my office and have some quiet and try to get something done. |

Elite 4344 | Subject: RE: NewTAN's Third Law of Motion I just finished pressure washing the dock and knocking down all the dirt-dauber nests and spraying the wasp nests. I even went under the dock and nailed half dozen wasp nests that were under the decking between the deck and the floats. The little critters never saw what hit 'em. Love that long-range wasp spray. Anybody want to do a Norris Lake Triathlon with me? The water temp is about 81 F, air temp is 74 and cloudy. It's just about perfect.

I'm pretty sure that this is justifiable homicide. Just sayin'.... Agreed!! The guy with an office next to mine likes to play a variety of music, and sing along with the wrong lyrics and in a horrible singing voice. He thinks he's doing really well and firmly believes he knows the correct lyrics. I thought he was joking until he seemed offended that I questioned his phrasing. I looked up the correct words once and he was genuinely surprised. So "Karma Chameleon" in a bad singing voice and with the wrong lyrics has to take a close 2nd place for worst office singing experience I would think. |
