Just an FYI about a local Albuquerque coach.

Some of you may have met/seen Scott Bennefield, aka Ironman Pastor, at the Jay Benson kickoff the last couple years.  Well he is starting a training group this week that goes through the Patriot Tri. I've not worked with him before but am looking forward to giving it a try.

The coaching package is listed on newmexicosportsonline and, to me, seems like a really good deal. The price includes 3 coached sessions per week, a training plan, several sessions on a computrainer and, if you wish, entry in to the Soccoro and/or Patriot triathlons. He didn't ask me to post this here, I just thought it was a really good deal and wanted to share.

I've heard good things about him from James at Hawk's and others.

Looks like a sweet deal!

I've been chatting with Randy Arriola about coaching me for Soma this year - otherwise, I'd probably sign up for that.

We had our first swim practice last night, I think I'm going to enjoy working with this group. We are going tomorrow night for bike testing aka computrainer. Looking forward to that opportunity... mostly

During the race there will be plenty of opportunities to exchange bottles, so I'm thinking about going with the aero bottle and Gatorade bottle and fill up as necessary. What should I do?
