Good morning BT! Our darn Internet is out so forgive the format this morning--posting from my phone!4:15am: 65 minutes on the KK followed by 2 rounds of Immortal Training Stairs. I've come to realize 2 rounds is all I'll be able to fit in unless I give up some bike time and I'm not willing to do that! Have a great day!

I'm sitting at my desk trying to talk myself into breaking away for a lunchtime swim in the pool.  I also need to get a short run in this evening after work.

Headed out early and bike commuted to work this morning on the coastal route. I did manage to find a few groups to folks to chase and even took a few turns riding tempo for them. (27 Miles)

At lunch I headed out from the office down through the lagoon to state beach and down to Flat Rock where I jumped in the ocean for a quick swim toward mussel rock before heading back up the hill to the office. (10 Mile run, 1000 meter Swim)

Beaches are pretty deserted and beyond Flat Rock, the beach is completely empty. I LOVE running down here this time of year.

This afternoon I will be bike commuting home and hoping to take a longer route with some good hills. (Possibly Del Dios or Black Mountain again) Should be about 40 miles of riding.

I went into the pool area (as this was a pool swim) and got body marked. That's when it hit me that I was there to race - this was not a clinic.

I have been able to swim 200-300 yards without stopping for the past couple of weeks, but this morning I couldn’t swim more than 50. Could not eating make a big differance?

This is not an easy task, especially for the “9-to-5er” with family. But you can do it – all without sacrificing your marriage, job or family.

Once you caught your breath, it occurred to you that finishing even a short triathlon might be harder than you thought. After a few "laps" you thought, "I can't believe I'm so out of shape."
