Subject: How soon do you put wetsuit on?
In Florida I know wetsuits are not legal at every race. Will be first season using one when able. Question is with most FL races are not very cold even though the race is wetsuit legal how soon do you put the wetsuit on? After getting Transition ready I know you will state to get a short swim in before the start, but wondering if you start to get a little warm wearing the wetsuit waiting for the start. Normal structure for me is go down to water 30 min before start and get short swim in. Thoughts?

I put mine on in time for a warm-up and then just waiting for my swim start time and had no problems.

I'll put mine on up to the waist, but won't pull on the sleeves and zip it up until just before I get ready to go in the water for my swim warm-up.

I prefer to race without my wetsuit if at all possible.  I mostly wear it for off-season OWS training.

I'm doing my first tri Saturday. It starts at 7 AM and the forecast is calling for a high of 82 (air temp). Do I need to rush out and get a wetsuit?

This is a 'first impressions' review of the Fit2Race Sockeye Fullsuit. From a first wetsuit point-of-view, I was able to dramatically improve my pace over non-wetsuit swims.

I quickly browsed an article in Men's Health that talked about doing a triathlon, and how it wasn't really that hard. With a "tsk!" I quickly turned the page while thinking, "Yeah, right!"
