Subject: Run schedule, race in 10 days I'm running a Thanksgiving Day half marathon. My training logs aren't really up to date but I have followed this plan http://www.halhigdon.com/training/51131/Half-Marathon-Novice-1-Trai... religiously. I only missed one run ever and that was one of the shorter ones anyway.
The plan has race day as this Saturday (I shifted the dates so long run days have been Saturdays ) but the race is next Thursday. I was thinking of doing this:
Today: 5 m
Tuesday: 3m
Wednesday: 5 m
Thursday: Rest
Friday: Rest or cross or whatever i feel like
Saturday: 6 m
Sunday: rest
Monday: 4 or 5 m?
Tuesday: 3-4 m
Wednesday: Rest
Thursday: Race day
Any thoughts on this? I haven't raced in literally 3 years I'm a little out of practice. |
