No she doesn't! She goes on shows like Ellen. When was the last time she took questions from the media? She hasn't been on the trail! She has been holed up for a week staying out of the public eye. The campaign knows the less people see her and hear her speak the better for her campaign. I can't tell you the number of times I've heard people say, "I can't stand to listen to that woman. Her voice and speaking cadence just irritate me." Evidently Trump learned something about being a politician from a career politician.
Last press conference that Hillary gave (that I could quickly find anyway) was October 4. Trump's was July 27. Another example of his hypocrisy - along with his quotes denouncing people for not paying enough taxes when he was paying 0 for many years at least. http://time.com/money/4516670/donald-trump-not-paying-taxes-critici... Enough said. Her last campaign appearance was October 12 I believe. Since then she has been fund raising and prepping for the debate like a more normal politician would be doing. Remember, she has Bill and Chelsea Clinton, Michelle and Barack Obama, Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden, and Bernie Sanders to campaign for her. They are out in Arizona this week, which is turning blue before your eyes among others states like Utah (with Evan McMullen helping) and Georgia. BTW, 538 now gives her an 88.4% chance of winning in its polls-only model. "I can't stand to listen to that woman. Her voice and speaking cadence just irritate me." Nice sexist comment from those folks is what I would say.

Last YouGov poll from Utah had Trump +16 in a 4 way race.  If that's your definition for her turning it blue then I guess I'll take it.

There has never been a candidate (other than Romney) who pulled it in the garage in October.  She's hiding because she knows every time she opens her mouth her polls go down.

Stop spreading lies about Trump not paying taxes.  There is zero proof of that and you know it.

For Utah, you have to be careful as not many polls include McMullin. Rasmussen from this past weekend: 30% Trump 28% Clinton 29% McMullin 5% Johnson 1% Stein 2% Some other candidate 4% Not sure The margin of error was 4 points, putting all three leading candidates in a statistical tie. Gary Johnson collapsed from previous polls to just five percent. On Trump's taxes, you are right. From the only documents we have been able to see, Trump did pay federal income taxes back in 1975 - 1977. Otherwise, he has, for the years data has been excavated, likely paid zero taxes - at least if he is such a tax loss carry forward wiz as he claims. 1995 Probably paid no taxes as this is when he claimed the $916 million in business losses. 1991 and 1993 Trump also claimed losses in these years that could have allowed him to avoid paying income taxes. 1984 Tax court records show Trump paid no federal income taxes. 1978 and 1979 Although he claimed to be worth hundreds of millions of dollars at the time, Trump paid no federal income taxes, according to a 1981 report by the New Jersey commission, assessing his fitness for a casino license. He took advantage of deductions available to real estate developers and, claiming losses from partnerships, Mr. Trump reported a “negative income” of $406,379 in 1978 and another loss of $3.4 million in 1979 — thus avoiding any tax liability for those two years. 1975-1977 Trump paid more than $71,000 in federal income taxes on about $218,000 of taxable income earned during these years, according to the 1981 casino commission report. Now, if he would release his tax returns like every other candidate since 1980, we could know more about his federal income tax rate, debt, investments, charitable giving, any off-shore holdings, etc. I am not holding my breath

I forgot to link the poll I was citing:  It was released yesterday and did include McLuvin taken from Oct 12-14.

Nate counts it too, so we have to take it seriously, right?

btw, two reputable pollsters polling essentially over the same time period Rasmussen and YouGov and they're that far apart?  This doesn't help my poll confidence.  lol

The Rasmussen poll (mine) was a few days later and would have included more stories from women claiming Trump sexually assaulted them, so they are not completely apples to apples. News is coming so fast and polls always lag and can change accordingly. Utah with a brand new extra person in the mix is probably going to see much wider and faster swings too I'd say. You have to admit that the state is in play this year though, which is all I was saying.

RCP electoral map with no toss-ups......each candidate has 25 states. Yes, I know it mean nothing....I just thought it was kinda cool. So if each state had an equal vote, we'd still be at a dead heat.

Interesting line from the second National Treasure. "Before the Civil War, the states were all separate. People used to say "the United States are..." It wasn't until the war ended that people started saying "the United States is..." Under Lincoln, we became one nation."

OK, back to our regularly scheduled debate....

Any one interested in that republican running as an independent.  McMullen or something?  Never heard of him until now but thought some of the conservatives on here might know more.  I heard an NPR interview last night and thought he actually sounded like a reasonable conservative as opposed to Trump (IMO).

Pretty sure he's only on the Ballot in Utah and he's a Mormon.  So basically he is an anti-trumper and wants nothing more than to cost him Utah.  If he were seriously running nationally I'd give him a serious look, but at this point he's just trying to muck up the works.

he is on the ballot in 11 states, on as a write in in 23 more, and says he will be on the ballot in 45 by voting day.  His "path" according to him is to not let anyone get to 270, win at least 1 state, and be voted in by congress.

he also acknowledges that there is a snowball's chance in hell that it happens, but thinks Hillary is already winning by a landslide so why not try.

From the O'Keefe video I posted yesterday there is a lady on there bragging about how she organized the Chicago riots that shut down the Trump rally.  Turns out, she was paid money directly from the Hillary campaign two weeks prior to the disruption.

http://dailycaller.com/2016/10/18/activist-who-took-credit-for-violent-chicago-protests-was-on-hillarys-payroll/

Do you guys realize the level of illegality that is transpiring in the Clinton campaign?  What's even worse is the media is absolutely black listing this video.  I am following O'Keefe and the Reddit for Trump and it's stunning how many road blocks they're getting from all the media, including Fox.  "We need to vet the story, before we can air anything"  from Fox
Yet, the Trump audio was aired within minutes of it's release.  /facepalm

I know many of you were going on and on earlier this year about how Trump was inciting violence and how his supporters were all angry and violent people.  Now that we see where this violence was really coming from it's disghusting.  They freaking paid people and trained them to instigate violence at Trump rally's.  How is this not far worse than any Watergate or other political scandal the last 100 years!!!

O'Keefe has part two of the video coming out today which he says is far worse than yesterday.  We shall see.

If the media doesn't play it, I bet you Trump will bring it up in tomorrows debate to force the media to cover it.

Sorry about that, I thought he was only on in Utah.  May have been an old article I read when he was just in Utah.  Either way he would be worse than voting for Johnson or Stein because there's zero chance of him getting anywhere.  At least Johnson has a .000000001% chance

Haha. That video is amazing.
I'm sure it's killing the GOP that they fell victim to how easily manipulated their followers are. Trumps presidency has essentially been scuppered by his own followers who have the self-control of a toddler. The right-wing crazies are so mentally unstable, that even the most basic of agitation will naturally evolve into violence. It's like pushing over a domino then just watching the show unravel.

None of it sounds illegal. It sounds like they have an excellent grasp of the legal landscape, and they're executing in such a way that they're accomplishing their goal all within the limit of the law. Bravo!

Belichick would be proud.

3 weeks, 10 hours, and 7 minutes until this joke of a candidacy is part of history.

Inciting a riot is illegal and a political party paying people to incite a riot is even more illegal, not to mention severely damaging politically.  Police officers and bystanders were injured in the Chicago "protest" that was organized by the DNC and it squelched the 1st amendment rights of the Republican nominee.

Your response is to mock American citizens who support Trump?  WTH is wrong with you and where did you get so much hatred in your heart?

That's the same thing General Cornwallis told King George about George Washington. "Not to worry, these American are a bunch of peasants and farmers....."

What advice do you have for each of the candidates for the upcoming debate?

Here's mine.

Trump - make an issue out of Hillary's health. Hillary lied about her health. She has only been to one rally this month and nothing scheduled for the rest of the month. Why is that? Are they worried she will faint again? Or do they just think the more people see and hear her the more they distrust her?

Hillary - Show some energy and speak from your heart and forget all the memorized stuff. You are not a good actor. People know you are reciting lines. Forget the lines and talk about your love of people and country. Talk about how you surround yourself with good people.....who know how to cover your criminal activity....

Well crap, I was trying to stay neutral but just couldn't do it. :-)

My opinion: Wikileaks is not a USA media outlet, like you said.  If it is going to put USA classified information out in the wild, then it will get treated as a hostile state actor.  The only thing that makes it "special" is that Ecuador doesn't claim responsibility for anything Assange does.  But they are shielding him.

Look I know not all government secrets are legit.  But you're a military guy.  You know as well as I do that lives depend on some of it.  Assange is reckless and if we take out his link to the internet for awhile, it's no different than (some state actor) writing a virus to set back Iran's nuclear program.

I have no doubt that he is using the rigged election as a defence for when he loses.  But if there are riots, he is opening himself up to potentially thousands of lawsuits for his negligent statements and inciting the masses to rise up and revolt against the rigged system.

We've hashed back and forth a few times here about "voter fraud" which Trump is now calling "rigged election".

The simple fact is, there are people doing nefarious things out there to effect the election at all levels.  The media is not only biased, they are downright killing anything that is against Hillary and pushing everything that is against Trump.  Obviously you don't like Trump, but it's like having a sports team that wins every game (New England, cough), but constantly cheats to do it.

O'Keefe just released the second video and it has a Soros funded PAC outright bragging about how they are committing mass voter fraud and why they're getting away with it and not getting caught.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDc8PVCvfKs
Yesterday you had paid operatives from Hillary's campaign as well as PAC's talking about how they coordinate with the campaign (illegal) and how they were instigating violence at Trump rally's and it had zero coverage from the media.

Not to mention the constant drone of emails from Podesta which have been horribly bad for Hillary and her campaign and not a peep from the media that they even exist.

You can say it's not a rigged system, or a rigged election, but honestly if you were going to rig an election what more would you need to do?

You interpret their actions as "inciting a riot" based on the lens through which you view it.
Alternatively, they were exercising their right to assemble, which was seen by the Trump crazies as provocation, and resulted in violence.
Given Trumps rhetoric, his supporters probably felt Trump would give them a gold star for throwing the first punch.

I don't have hate, I have pity.
For those so blinded and lost that they ardently support an inarguably dangerous candidate; it speaks to the sorry state of the US 2-party political system.
