Ah, don't remind me! I had to ride the winter bike on Saturday and I'm already missing my summer bike.

At least the pool is indoors. Yep, I'm training.

Yeah but you enjoyed the company and the coffee at Bread Garden...other than your flat tire.

See you Sat. and I'll be more careful with my turns and directions so I don't bump your friend off her bike again

Cheers

Ah hey Paulo, I didn't know that you were on this site too.

Thanks for the company on Saturday. And don't worry, Laura and I like playing bumper cars.

I'm at Norgate.  I'll be training up and down cypress until it snows.  No I wasn't at IMC this year.  Next year I'll be up there to support the tri-club just before Ironman Wisconsin but need to do arizona again first and actually the grand columbian this weekend.  Anyways I'm up for rides from north van to anywhere and back.  Guess I better put my lights on my bike...and fenders too....

I need to rehab this winter. May be doing some mountains this year!

I might do UBC, still have to figure out a training plan for next year. I'd like to do a half iron so I'm going to have to figure out which races I want to do.

Anyone doing any fall running events (James Cunningham, Fall Classic, etc.)?

Oh yeah, I'll be training. I have a pool in my building, running on the seawall and biking when I can.

J

You've got to tell me which building you live in. I might be your new best friend.

I'm doing James Cunningham for fun and I'd like to do 10k or the Half in the Fall Classic.

J. you do live close to me. I'm at Burrard and Robson. Do you have a hottub? Just kidding.

Seriously though... does anyone on here know anyone who lives in the building with the pool that you can stand underneath and see above you. Cause that's cool.

Darn it! I live to far to be your new best friend. I guess I have to share the public pool

And Jen, what? A pool you stand and see above you? Am I in the twightlight zone? (did I just age myself?)

I plan on doing an Ironman next season and will be maintaining my level of fitness over the fall and winter months.  I will not be starting my Ironman Training schedule until April.  In the meantime, I will ride my bike until the snow starts flying around mid-November and   I will start swimming at the local pool as soon as it gets too cold to swim in the lake.  I will keep running through the winter months and plan on doing some x-country skiing.
