Subject: RE: 8.14.17 Monday Morning! 6:00am: 1 mile warm-up with strides, 11 x 400m repeats with 2 min rest intervals, 10 minute cool down. This was my 5th day in a row training in the race. I have to remind my self that I have raced in the rain before and that these type of training days are what allowed me to kill it on a day when many others complained that they weather caused them to race poorly. Tuesday's forecast, rain. Wednesday's forecast, rain. Thursday's forcast, rain. :-) At least I am not training in 105 deg F which is what I have had to do on occasions this time of the year in the past. |
