Pre-race routine:

missed usual breakfast-got a Dunkin Hazlenut ^ french toast wrap thingy on the 2 hr ride.
Event warmup:

porta potty line & walking to the start-chatting with Pjostack & c2 ..reminisce about coming to edaville many years ago on an icy cold winter night

Comments:

Strted with PJO & c2 , spent first mile finding open spots..stayed with c2 who was feeling a bit under the weatger for first mile or 2, then just cruised. Breezy at times.Just an enjoyable run on a clear & sunny fall day.
Post race
Warm down:

cheered in C2 & PJ, got some water & fruit, chowder..then changed into warmer clothes & checked the time sheets.2ng AG- Cool! Hung out & chatted with PJ & C2.

Event comments:

Wasn't sure would make this race- bit of a hike- but glad I did- nostalgic & pretty setting, gorgeous day, well run, & good company.
PJ MET HER GOAL & DID UNDER 50 MINUTES YEAH!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Wooo hoooo.....2nd place!  Your room must be getting full of medals by now!  Wish I could have made this race, but saving my leg for Feaster.
