Let's all go to T-shirt diner at Westshore and get a shirt with something on it and then add something "Gasparilla" to it so they all have something in common! 

It's only 5 and a half weeks away peeps, we need to make some plans! 

But Rich, for me its all true.

Haha...it's ok Rich, we'll be pirates on Saturday, and you'll be one on Sunday. 

I know I sound like a broken record on this but...

WHERE ARE WE EATING ON SATURDAY NIGHT???

Does anyone have a preference?  I'm thinking we should do the BT dinner on Saturday again, cuz the 15K and the 5K will probably just be fun runs for most of us, so we'll wanna do our big fueling for the half and full marathons instead.  I'd love to get a nice big group of us together like we did last year, that was fun!!

Also, would anyone wanna do a little get-together Friday night at the host hotel like last year?  Of course we can't make any Johnny Weir jokes this time as there won't be any Olympic Figure Skating on this time!! LOL 

I'll throw out my request for The Dish in Ybor, but you know I'm easy and will eat anywhere.

Its been over 4 years since I've been there.

OK peeps, it's almost time!  Who's still coming?  Who's doing what race?  Pre-race dinner?  Friday night drinks at the host hotel again?  Let's get it all worked out!

I'd be willing to have the Friday night thing at my place in Brandon, which is 15 minutes from downtown Tampa, via the Crosstown Expressway.  Otherwise, we can do a get-together at the host hotel on Friday if that's easier for y'all.  Looking forward to it!!

I just saw an article saying that The Dish is closed. WTF?

Depending on the amount of people it might be safer to meet at the host hotel on Friday. We could have riot / crowd control on standby.

Is anyone doing the 15K?  I need a push.  I"m not even registered....yet.  Maybe buying new shoes will get me excited? 

whatever happens I'll be on the course Sunday with goodies.  Any special requests?

Yeah I think the host hotel on Friday is a good idea now that you put it that way Adam.  I'm up for that. 

So...picnic and OWS on Saturday after the 15 and 5?  I'm gonna need an ice bath since I'm running the mary the next day so that'll be the perfect way to get that in.  If anyone's interested in doing that, let's go to the same place we went last year, Picnic Island Park.  Directions are simple.  Just take Westshore south until you can't go anymore, you'll see a bunch of industrial stuff.  The entrance to the park is on your left, just over some railroad tracks.  Once you turn left, go til you can't go anymore and we'll be in that parking lot at the end of the road, can't miss it.  Bring your own snacks/drinks. 

Since DISH is closed, we need another place to eat.  Anyone have any suggestions?
