Comments: We started a little further back in the chute than we probably should have, so we ended up dodging jogging strollers, baby carriages and people walking dogs for the first half of the race. On of the other BT'ers I ran with (Ontherun) got hit from behind by a jog stroller. I had to walk part of the course because my shins were hurting. I also had a hard time with the cold air, making my lungs hurt a bit. What would you do differently?: More training. Post race
Warm down: Stood around waiting for the BT'ers who ran the 5 mile course, but then it started raining so I went back to the car where my wife and kids were waiting for me. What limited your ability to perform faster: Pain in my shins, plus pain in my lungs from the cold air. Last updated: 2006-10-24 12:00 AM

My kids were racing in the "Kids K" race, which actually ended up being just 1/2 a lap on a 1/4 mile track. But, I was running around with them and didn't really have a "routine".
Did a little bit of stretching and met up with other BT'ers (Onthrun, Celeb_ithil, tri_again), but other than that did not do to much of a warmup.
