No worries!  I enjoy doing this kind of stuff...besides, since I'm not racing...AGAIN...it's a good way to be social with the crew.  See y'all in 4 days!!

I'm game for whatever you guys decide. Saturday I'll be with 2 possibly 4 friends.

I also volunteer to go to the Athlete's meeting.

As I said before I'm stayinmg at La Veranda and i don't think having a party there would be a good thing.

The boss and I are good for anywhere on either night. We're staying at the Ramada with NO KIDS!!

She's not racing, but she has her very last class for graduate school this Thursday night, so I expect that she'll be willing to hang anywhere as long as there's a bar or even a bottle in a paper bag.

Oh, my.... all this final get-together planning is making my stomach turn and making me all pukey-feeling.

We're up for dinner one of the nights at least, as long as kids are welcome...  No swim/bike for us though on Saturday, since the munchkins are doing the Meek and Mighty.

Can't wait to put faces to names!!!!

Kids are always welcome!  If you're gonna bring them to any event, bring them Saturday, they'll enjoy DISH.  It's fun to stand there and watch them cook your dinner.  I'm starving just thinking about it!! YUM!!!

I talked to a few folks...we may just try to do the swim sooooper early on Saturday, so that we can get some time in the aqua, then watch the M&M.

The ride will likely be Friday afternoon.  And people can run on their own sched.

Jeff, you rock my world.  Count the Opkins' in for 4 at Dish.  Christine better bring her boys so they can sit with our kids.  We probably won't make the Friday night thing since we wont even start driving until 4:30 (MAYBE we'll be there by 8:30).  Not sure about Sunday aftermath either, since we gotta do the long haul home too.  Rick can we use your shower???  We didn't get in to La Veranda this year.

Jenn and I and our girls will be down at least by Saturday evening.  The exact timetable and who's driving what and when are still up in the air..I'm a minimalist at planning.  That sounds better than saying I'm disorganized and clueless, anyway.

NEWSFLASH!

OK peeps, this is not good news.  DISH IS CLOSED!!  I found out last night when I went to make the reservation.  It's GONE!  So...with four days to go, I need to find another place to eat on Saturday night.

KathyG made a suggestion last night that might work.  TooJay's on Saturday, and someplace different on Friday.  We could all meet at Baywalk at Wet Willie's (its the bar I was suggesting for the afterparty) Friday evening and then decide as a group where we'd want to go from there.  There are a few other restaurants in Baywalk that we could go to for Friday.  There is an Italian place, and I'd suggest this for the Saturday dinner but I do know a few of the athletes don't want just a pasta place, and there's Dan Marino's which can get expensive.  But there are other places around town that we can hit as well, probably in walking distance.  So we're gonna have to figure something out on the fly for Friday.  I'm gonna take a drive there on Wednesday night and make a list of all the places close to Baywalk that we can hit for Friday.  Anyway, TooJay's does have a diverse dinner menu so you can usually find something there that will suit your tastes.  Everything from lasagna to deli sandwiches...salads, soups, etc.

I'D LOVE ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS TOO. I'm so sorry guys, I don't live anywhere near there so it was a complete surprise to me when I called for a reservation and got the ART GALLERY instead.  UGH!!!

So...please chime in on this and I'll get a final count.  We don't need a res for TooJay's, we can order as we please and just hang around and eat at our leisure...so it may work out better in the long run.  Either way though, dinner is still on, and I'll make every effort to make it work.  My apologies for not knowing DISH was closed.  I feel AWFUL.

OK so far here's what I have.  I'm sure I've got at least some of this wrong so correct me.

Friday - 630pm...Meet at WetWilly's bar at Baywalk and we'll figure out Friday dinner from there.  No idea on attendees.  We'll wait til 7 before we either go somewhere together or break up to do our own things.

Saturday - Meek and Mighty Tri.  I'll be down at the race venue watching the race.  BunnyRunner is doing the race so come cheer her on!

Saturday night - 6pm...TooJay's at Baywalk.  I'm gonna list who I have as definite and if I'm wrong or forgot you, please let me know!!

well, if they're not referring to those yummy marshmallow treats that are best served stale, i'd say they are using "peeps" as in "people" - like "my people" or "my homies" yadda yadda yadda...
