Welcome Jonesy! (I'm an Oregonian too-Portland)

I'm having a hard time guys. I have been feeling a little sick and my workouts have been so-so (and sometimes just not happening) and there has been a little comfort eating.

I'm worried about weigh-in this week. And I'm worried that I'm going to get myself even sicker so I think I might have to take tomorrow off from working out too.

Blah. Sorry for the pity party.

Very funny Brian!!  (Sandy tolerates my princessy type behavior.)

THIS is the Sandy that signed us up for the Hagg Lake Triathlon 8 days before the race.   She's lucky that race didn't kill me and I became a huge tri addict instead.

Don't be sorry!! We've all had these frustrating situations.  Take a look at my log...a whole week of yellow squares!!  I got sick and my coach insisted I take time off and I'm so glad he did.  I am starting to feel better and I know if I'd pushed through, I'd still feel like garbage.

it's early in the season...REST!  Get better!!  Dont' sweat the weigh in...I'm right there with ya.

Welcome Sandy!  Any friend of Sharon's is a friend of Team Skinny.  Weigh in on Wednesday morning and post on the weekly thread (it's not there yet but you will see it).

Hagg Lake!  I just signed up for that race (Sprint distance) since I was planning to come north to Portland this summer to visit friends.  Rachel, Sharon, Ed....any interest?  We could have a Team Skinny reunion after the race....I will be the guy laying face down on the grass.

Rachel-

Sorry to hear about your challenges...they will pass and you will be out on the road again in no time...don't apologize for the pity party, that is what we are here for.  Have a great day and I hope you feel better.

Better than face down in the water I guess.

Oh, and welcome Jonesy!  Could you please pick up that guy over there in the grass???  He's giving us a bad name.
