Pro  4541    A farming town in MN |  Subject: 'West' Minneapolis BT lunchHey guys, figured that this was an easier way to correspond, rather than through PMs and personal e-mails. And it looks like we all check the MN forum pretty frequently (or in many cases, too frequently). Steve (hikergerb) and I (sparco) were going to do a wetsuit transfer next week. Plan was to get together next week at Chipotle's (ummm, burritos) in St. Louis Park (or any other favorite location). Both Tom (Matchman) and Rodger (rabkaman) are in Golden Valley/St. Louis Park during the work week as well. My schedule is a little busy next week. Here's when I'm available: If those dates don't work out: Who's up for lunch? |

I have a guy that lives just a few blocks south of you that rides in frequently. When your looking at the trail map you'd want to get off on Beltline and work your way around to the Chipolte. You ought to give it a thought! |

The Chipotle's is the one at 5480 Excelsior Blvd, St. Louis Park, MN 55416. I guess it's kind of over near Lake Calhoun. Quite a few blocks west. Let's push this back to next Tuesday at 11:30. That way Steve can get more familiar with his bike commuting logistics (I'll still pick you up), and Tom will be back in town. Autumn, we don't want you to face too much heavy traffic, especially w/Fiona in tow/alongside. Is there anything right off the Greenway that would be convenient for you and Fi to get to? It doesn't have to be Chipotle, just somewhere where a waiter/waitress doesn't have to take an order (quasi-fast food). You certianly would have no trouble getting here. I would agree with Sal if we could come up with something closer to the bike path it would be better. I don't mind fighting my way through traffic but I would hate to see Autumn have to do it with Fi in tow. Too many chuckle heads out there! |

Are you thinking of the one by Noodles & Co, Whole Foods , etc? The one in St. Louis Park is also on Excelsior, but further down right by 100. You can continue on the Greenway, past Calhoun for a ways and then cut left when you get to Beltline and wiggle your way down to Excelsior. I'm sure Steve can give directions from there. Just didn't want you to end up missing them. |
