Probably (or surely), you don't meet them, but I like a lot Clã and Toranja, Portuguese bands, when I need to be energized.
"Competência para Amar", "Cenário", "Carrossel dos Esquisitos", "Topo de Gama", "Carta" and “Sopro do Coração”
Talking about foreign singers and their songs, I like Evanescence, especially "My Immortal", and Incubus, "Drive" and "Talk show on mute".

I forgot to add Nelly Fortado’s Euro 2004 song, “Força” (which means Strength). In fact, I didn’t like its melody, but its lyric talks about the sportive spirit.
And you know, there are so many good and special songs: it’s impossible and unfair choose them.

Call me old school, but the songs that pump me up the most both come from the Rocky soundtrack. "Eye of the Tiger" and my favorite "Gonna Fly Now"
Nobody can help but get excited when hearing either of those 2 songs.
Oh, and anything AC/DC works quite well for me too. They are so simple that you can get into a rythym (practically the same tune for all songs) but are good at pumping me up too.

On of the superstations was playing Rocky 3 last night - I gotta agree with you. The beginning of Eye of the Tiger gets me so pumped up.

I've got a few to list:

Good warm-up easy pace songs- Clocks by Cold Play and Beautiful Day by U2 (together right at 10 mins)

a few to keep you goin' - Bawitdaba by Kid Rock; Hey Ya by Outkast; Let's Get It Started by Black Eyed Peas; A Little Less Conversation by Elvis Presley w/ JXL Remix.

The BEST SONG EVER FOR THE LAST 10 MINS - YES 10 MINS LONG

Confusion by New Order (off of the Blade Soundtrack)

this song really pumps me up!!! I usually listen to country and am not a fan of "techno" music at all (I make the exception for workouts) but, this song just keeps going and keeps picking up the pace faster and faster and you can't help but do the same - I always have this song on my mp3 player and set for the last 10 mins of my run time.

Here's an appropriate one for running;
"Marathon" by Rush.
I'd forgotten all about it until I pulled the "A Show of Hands" album out the other day, and as I was powering home yesterday setting a new PB for 10K that was the tune running through my head.

Couple of things (minor nitpicking)

The Jimmy Eats World song is called "The Middle".

The New Order remix from Blade was done by Pump Panel.

And I discovered over the week-end that my motivational song, "The Name of the Game" by Crystal Method has a tempo of 91 beats per minute.  Perfect tempo for bike training!
