Comments: I think I managed my race pace well. Started race just fast enough and maintained a good pace to the finish line. Finished strong and had enough left for a short sprint to the finish line. Official race pace 7:40 per mi. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Post race
Warm down: Should have done some coool down jogging, but didn't. Quickly put on a warmer jacket, hat and downed a Hammer Nutrition Recoverite; one full 20oz water bottle. Event comments: No timing chips. Saturday's race results posted on-line on Tuesday, 4/17. Last updated: 2007-04-14 12:00 AM

Usual breakfast - 2 Eggo Waffels, 2 1/2 hrs before race time.
5 min stretch, 5 min massage
3 short jogs to warmup and decide what I really needed to wear for the race. Ended up with tights, base layer on top with short sleeve top over long sleeve base layer and gloves....Perfect
