Well guys.

I'm officially a triathlete!!!

450 yards (ows), 16.7 mile bike, 3.1 run in 2 hours 40 seconds.

Very tired and going for nap. I can't seem to remember now, but I know someone else is racing tomorrow.

Kick arse man!!!!!

Well I hurt my stupid knee playing volleyball Sunday. Not sure how bad it is, I'm hoping it's just a strain but will likely have to take a few days off. The good news is that my team, the men, won so the girls had to play the next two games topless......

Sounds like the group did great on the races this weekend! I managed to get out of ball due to a large amount of extra guys showing up so i went out for my first long ride. 97.38 KM's! If I had been watching my GPS I would have made sure to nail down an entire century, but oh well, i had a great time riding. Great job again on the first time races, I can't wait to read up on the race reports!!!

john - now that i've caught the bug, i'm thinking i need a july race and i saw the NJ State.  That's pretty close to me and the timing looks good.   I know it's on your calendar.  Have you done this one before?

Here's the link to the Randolph tri - looks pretty nice and I plan to do at least a few loops around the bike course before race day so I'll let you know.

I'm just planning on training thru the Randolph race for the NJ state Oly on the 22nd. I'm building a new bike so hopefully it'll be ready.

The race is a bit less than 2 hours away from Marlton, NJ and it's about 30 minutes from my house in Springfield, NJ. You and your significant other (and anyone else racing for that matter) can stay at my house the night before if you like (plenty of room, 6 bedrooms and the wife and I are empty nesters) so you don't have to drive or pay for a hotel - be glad to have you, just let me know.
