I like watered down gatorade. I buy the powdered kind so I can mix to taste. Plus, it's cheaper. I've also been mixing gatorade and heed together lately (I had free samples), and while I don't like heed by itself, I do like the mix.

For recovery, I like milk, or meals, or when I've done a long, long workout, powerbar's recovery.

Ya I buy the powder mix of Gatorade and mix it so it's watered down.  $5 tin gets me about 25 servings which you can't beat :D

My brother is down in the states right now trying to get me Gatorade Endurance as they don't sell it here yet (that I can find).

I use Accelerade.  Seems to work for me.  You can by th 56 serving container for about $19 at Nashbar.

Yeah, I have the powder, too...way cheaper and you can control the taste better. And, it has the added environmentally friendly benefit of cutting back on how many plastic bottles I bring into my home.

I use different things...GE; regular Gatorade with either Nunns or extra electrolytes from endurolyte powder to make its sodium level like GE; sometimes just nuuns on shorter workouts and always when swimming.

I'm going to start trying Heed as that is what is on the run course on my HIM. They are having GE on the bike, and Heed on the run...weird.

As you can see, it's about personal taste and what works best with your body.  I had been using Accelerade for several years, but tried Powerbar Endurance Sports Drink and really like it.  It dissolves easy, tastes great, and really works well for me.

Good luck deciding.  Make sure you test it out in training before you commit to it in a big race and find out your body doesn't like it.  I've had that happen, and it ain't fun.

I like Gatorade Endurance.  Usually put extra servings in a jewelry baggie or two for longer rides so I can mix extra bottles on the road.  You can get it online from performancebike.com

Gu2O for me too. Have been using Gatorade, but too sweet even watered down, so like the OP thought I'd try something new and Gu2O is readily available in town. Never thought of adding Endurolyte.. might have to try it!

x2. I like the raspberry or orange flavors. Might have to try the endurolyte too

I found Accelerade funny tasting at first. Now it's alright, but I'll be trying something else next time.
